The project pioneers
The DERBI competitiveness cluster was created by the local collaboration of :

On one hand, the economic needs expressed by enterprises from different sectors (solar energy, building, community and industry service enterprises, industrialists and operators in the energy sector, engineering offices, etc) as well as the emerging specialist needs of communities.

And on the other hand, a considerable offer of specialist activities from public scientific research, in progress and completed, as well as from professional and higher level education.

The DERBI competitiveness cluster project was begun by the following players and groups:

  • The CNRS (the National Centre of scientific research), the Languedoc Roussillon regional office
  • The Mediterranean centre for training studies, information and innovation (CEFIIM)
